We live in a corrupted system. The way to tackle corruption is to first acknowledge it exists. Only then is it possible to come up with ways of dealing with it, but don't make the mistake of believing the system can or will uncorrupt itself.

Statistics regarding COVID-19 infections

So if you believe the mainstream media, BBC and Government propagandists you’ll likely think that there are hundreds of thousands of COVID-19 cases, hospitals are swamped by thousands of extra terribly ill people and this is all a good reason to lockdown millions of otherwise healthy people.

Today for example the BBC went with this not-at-all hyperbolic headline and the subsequent article:

…where they went on to claim that “another 964 people died within 28 days of a positive test”. If that sounds like semantic wordplay to avoid saying that those 964 people died from COVID-19 because they almost certainly didn’t, you’d be right.

It also claims this:

“The latest NHS Test and Trace figures show 232,169 people tested positive for Covid in England at least once in the week to 23 December, up 33% on the previous week and the highest weekly rise on record.”

Tested positive “at least once” eh? More interesting wordplay. But that’s a big number. 232,169 in a week, the week that would be represented in this document (mirror) on the Government website, entitled “NOIDs Weekly Report – Statutory Notifications of Infectious Diseases – Week 51”.

In this document it shows the number of COVID-19 cases for the entire country that week totalling 50. Yes fifty, as in five zero. Five times ten. That’s some discrepancy isn’t it? How could that be?

Well, it could be, that the other 232,119 are cases created by a flawed test that generates masses of false-positives, and/or these are “asymptomatic” cases and therefore the people are not ill, not seeking medical attention and hence are not clogging up the poor old NHS. The 50 in that document are likely confirmed cases as reported by healthcare professionals with patients who are actually ill and seeking medical help, as they will be obligated by law to report them.

That document shows in the same week there were more cases of Campylobacteriosis than COVID-19 but strangely there’s no reporting of the nationwide Campylobacteriosis Pandemic mercilessly slaughtering thousands and causing huge swathes of the population to flood the hospitals. I wonder why?
