We live in a corrupted system. The way to tackle corruption is to first acknowledge it exists. Only then is it possible to come up with ways of dealing with it, but don't make the mistake of believing the system can or will uncorrupt itself.

H.R.6666 – TRACE

Our friends in the United States have such a caring Government. Way back on the 1st May 2020 a new Bill was introduced (PDF mirror) to the U.S. Congress, the main title of which is:

H.R.6666 – COVID-19 Testing, Reaching, And Contacting Everyone (TRACE) Act

Obviously we can ignore the 6666 bit which is just a coincidence. Please pay no attention to the happenstance nature of the numbering of this Act. What you should concentrate on is the amazingly clever acronym that no doubt boardrooms of highly paid marketing execs came up with. Testing, Reaching And Contacting Everyone, the acronym spelling the word TRACE, clever huh? And you thought they didn’t care?

So what’s this all about? Well it explains the purpose of this Act is:

To authorize the Secretary of Health and Human Services to award grants to eligible entities to conduct diagnostic testing for COVID–19, and related activities such as contact tracing, through mobile health units and, as necessary, at individuals’ residences, and for other purposes.

Sounds harmless right? They’re just awarding grants to “entities” to keep people safe, that’s all. Who are these “entities”? Well there’s a list of seven groups that are defined as “eligible entities”, but it’s totally pointless as the eighth entry on the list is:

any other type of entity that is determined by the Secretary to be an eligible entity for purposes of this section.

…so literally anyone the Government decides, acting through the CDC. So the US Government is going to hand out money to “entities” to conduct COVID-19 testing and “related activities”. This was decided on 1st May 2020 which was quite early on and as it states includes:

…diagnostic testing for COVID–19, to trace and monitor the contacts of infected individuals, and to support the quarantine of such contacts through-

(1) mobile health units; and
(2) as necessary, testing individuals and providing individuals with services related to testing and quarantine at their residences.

The Government is going to pay “entities” to rove around in their healthmobiles and also come to your house to test and quarantine you, “as necessary”. I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about. What could possibly go wrong?

It is noteworthy that priority is to be given to applications that set up shop and recruit from the local community, and “hot spots” will also attract further prioritisation. So this will obviously incentivise all kinds of opportunistic parasitic organisations who love to drink the sweet nectar of Government funding to set up in areas where people are already feeling the effects of having their livelihoods and means of survival threatened by Government mandates.

This effectively encourages those decimated by State abuse to work for the State via the proxy of “entities” set up to generate more reasons for the State to continue with it’s abuse.

How much money is involved? Oh just $100,000,000,000 per year during the “emergency period”. One hundred billion dollars a year. And who’s paying for this? Yes, that’s right. The taxpayers who in droves have lost their jobs and are being tempted to work for Federal money, presumably the notion is that once they’re back working again they will be paying taxes out of their State wage to pay for their State wage.

If this was the only drain on the U.S. Government’s tax dollars it would be insane and unsustainable, akin to attempting to refill a leaking swimming pool by scooping out buckets of water from one end and pouring them back in at the other end. But of course it isn’t the only drain. Government spending in the U.S. (and here in the UK too) has been out of control for years but the engineered COVID “crisis” has just removed all possible brakes on money printing and spending.
